My Backstory
I was born in Nyack, New York and I grew up flipping through family albums always curious about the photos. I loved hearing the stories that came with each photo, it was like I got to travel back in time every time I sat with a photo album.
In 2018 I enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps as a combat photographer. After combat training, I learned the basics of digital photography and developed my eye as a photojournalist at the Defense Information School located at Fort George G. Meade.
Upon graduation from the Basic Still Photography Course at DINFOS, I went to my first duty station, U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific, located in Hawaii. I learned that photography is so much more than pressing a button and that it's never "just a photo."
It's a service that results in moments that can be cherished forever. I love photography as a storytelling medium, and I am always in awe of the impact photos have in this world. Photography truly is a universal language.
In April 2023, I ended my career as a U.S. Marine Corps Combat Photographer and began the next chapter of my life. I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Pace University.

Nothing Beats pencil and paper.
I have a degree in fine arts, I'm a painter and draftswoman at heart. I love the feeling of buying a new sketchbook and pencils. I often draw out my shot-lists , posing ideas, and photography concepts.
Skills Founded in the Darkroom.
I still shoot film. The first time I ever used a "serious" camera was in a 35mm black and white film photography class. My go to pairing is a Canon AE-1 Program and Fujifilm Fujicolor 400.
Canon runs in the family.
My first camera was a gift from my uncle, a Canon 50D, I shot my very first wedding ceremony on that camera in 2019. Today, I shoot on a Canon R5.
